Martha Saphira & Michael Tandio
E V E R Y D E T A I L in Martha & Michael’s wedding invitation was thoughtfully crafted to reflect the quiet beauty of their love story—a journey that has grown and deepened fore more than seven years. Inspired by their belief that marriage is a once-in-a-lifetime bond, the creative process began with heartfelt conversations: capturing their personalities, memories, and family heritage, then weaving them into a design rich with symbolism and meaning.
Cover
Printed on textured Old Mill paper in a muted rosewood hue, the cover exudes warmth and elegance. Its soft matte finish invites touch—whispering of timeless romance and enduring devotion.
Die-Cut Silhouette
A custom die-cut floral frame echoes the shape of blooming petals, encircling a translucent window—like a keepsake box that reveals a glimpse of what’s most cherished inside: a golden monogram and a finely illustrated portrait of their wedding venue.
Translucent Layer
Beneath the cover lies a delicate sheet of vellum, printed with architectural linework in subtle monochrome. The initials and wedding date shine in gold foil stamping, a luminous reminder of the moment their forever begins.
Ornamentation & Symbolism
The invitation is adorned with hand-illustrated carnations and yarrow, drawn in soft white ink to represent tenderness, strength, and legacy. Lavish gold-foiled baroque flourishes embrace the composition, evoking a sense of history and celebration.
Carnations — a symbol of memory, admiration, and enduring love.
Yarrow — representing healing, resilience, and devotion across time.
Doves — for peace, fidelity, and a love that feels like coming home.
Finishing Touch
Each invitation is bound by hand with burgundy thread—an intimate gesture that brings a sense of craft and care. This isn’t merely a printed card; it’s a visual heirloom, created to honor not only a couple’s union, but the beautiful joining of two families into one.
This is not merely an invitation. It’s a keepsake—an heirloom meant to be held onto, cherished, and revisited. For the couple, it reflects their unique bond and shared history. For their families, it honors tradition, lineage, and the joining of two stories into one.
It informs, yes—but more importantly, it reminds.
It reminds guests of the roots that shaped the couple, the values they carry forward, and the promise they’re stepping into together. It anchors the celebration in something deeper than the day itself: the legacy of love, memory, and meaning they are building.
It’s an invitation to a moment, and a reflection of a lifetime to come.
